1. What is Marbil?
The Marbil<sup>Tm</sup> Mobile Advertising Solution takes the online advertising model onto the mobile phone enabling prospective advertisers to reach their target audiences through the mobile channel. Marbil<sup>Tm</sup> does this by match making advertisers with publishers of mobile websites, traditional websites and other mobile delivery channels (MMS, SMS, Interactive Voice Response, etc) who in turn benefit by monetising traffic across their delivery channels.

2. What type of advertising can be displayed using Marbil?
 The MarbilTM solution is very flexible allowing for the display of

  • Basic and scrolling text links in the form of sponsored links and tendencies;
  • Banner adverts of various sizes including the various standard sizes prescribed by the Mobile Marketing Association; and
  • Rich media content including animated gifs and flash.

3. What benefits do the MarbilTM service offer advertisers?

  • Audiences can be selected based on gender, age, income, location, handset type and more.

5. How is the MarbilTM solution offered to customers?
The Marbil<sup>Tm</sup> server can be installed on-site, integrated into the publishers’ backend systems or offered as a hosted solution to smaller publishers and to those customers that do not want to be burdened with the operational support of IT solutions.

6. What are the costs associated with using the MarbilTM solution?
A project specific proposal will be drafted for customer standalone installations including the required hardware, software, installation, integration as well as any additional professional services.

To gain access to the hosted solution, the following charges will be applicable

  • Once of activation fee covering the setup of the solution to meet the customer’s specific requirements;
  • Additional professional services fees should the customer require further customisation of the standard product offering;
  • 20% revenue share from all advertising revenues earned by the customer with monthly minimum.

7. What is the revenue potential of the MarbilTM solution?
With the MarbilTM solution, publishers can earn incremental revenues through selling online adverting space in one of the following ways:

  • Banner advert impressions served;
  • Paying for banner advert click throughs;
  • Sponsored links; and
  • Tendencies.

Additional revenues could be earned by developing mobi site linked to when customers click on specific ad banners.

Setting up and customising the MarbilTM service

1. What do I need to setup or configure before I can start using the MarbilTM service?
After signing up for the MarbilTM service, a username and password will be provided for accessing the web based MarbilTM management console. Using the console, the customer can perform the following actions:

  • Setup users with specific access rights to the system;
  • Create new advertisers and associated adverts;
  • Setup and manage specific campaigns;
  • Request real-time and historic reports; and
  • Use the forecasting module to predict future campaign performance base don historic performance data.
